Dr. Jennifer Walden, aged 45, is a Cosmetic Surgeon based in Austin, Texas. She owns Walden Cosmetic Surgery Center still headquartered in Austin.
Jennifer Walden did an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Texas. She then proceeded to apply for entry into medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch but was waitlisted. However, after admission, she graduated as salutatorian. Walden then attained a fellowship in aesthetic surgery which was at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
For over eight years, she has been a practicing surgeon with her specialization being on surgeries involving nose jobs, breast augmentations, liposuction and the rest of cosmetic surgery. Being one of the very few female plastic surgeons has put her on the frontline, and with her experience, she has performed a series of successful surgeries.
Surprisingly, she admits to having had a Juvederm and Botox. She aims at changing lives of women and helping them improve their confidence levels. Her continuous use of technology in line with her practice is notable. She uses imaging technology in the form of 3-D that helps visualize the patient’s appearance before surgery.
In 2014, she was listed among Harper’s Bazaar’s 24 Best Beauty Surgeons. Additionally, she has co-authored the book ‘Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.’ To top it up, she has been one of the commentators on Fox News and ABC News concerning plastic surgery.
Walden served as one of the boards of directors of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery which made her one of the few women elected there. In 2015, she was ranked one of the best plastic surgeons in America by American Way.
Lastly, on a lighter note, she has a set of twin sons born in the year 2010. She says one of the contributing factors of her moving back to Austin was that she needed her children around her family.
