	Who are the You Gizmos founders? Above all, we are people who love creativity, problem-solving, art, intelligence and humor. We are designers, engineers, artists, musicians and extremely positive folks who love to encourage everyone to be as creative and wonderful as possible. You Gizmos is a development of Design Visionaries, a 15-year-old design firm doing business in the heart of Silicon Valley. We have performed a wide range of mechanical designs for many major corporations, such as, Bose, GM, Johnson & Johnson, Plantronics, the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, Tesla Motors, and many others. We also do quite a bit of design for small start-up companies and inventors that have a fantastic idea and need our help to bring it to market. Part of our business is to teach engineers how to use high-end CAD systems to perform high-quality designs for "Fortune 500s" and others. You Gizmos allows us to express ourselves and be creative in ways that are not necessarily commercial. Our art form: You Gizmos is devoted to the art of concept practice. It could be a strange new mechanism, a huge boat, a miniature steam engine. It can be a trebuchet, a sling shot for water balloons or a clock that runs on buckets of sand, or even a potato launcher. It's the act of thinking of something new as well as rendering it in wood, metal, plastic, ice, you name it. You Gizmos is for serious artisans that have studied their craft for decades, as well as those who are just getting into the game.
