Every year, the best rally drivers converge in Brazil to join the annual Sertoes Rally. Started in 1993, the event produced some of the country’s most popular rally drivers, including Rodrigo Terpins who have been joining the rally every year along with Michel Terpins, his younger brother. They are preparing heavily before the day of the competition arrives, and Rodrigo Terpins have his team on his back to support him every time he gets on to the track. The most recent Sertoes Rally took place in the early part of the year 2018, and the organizers invited more than 200 racers around the world to show off their skills in driving. The organizers have also chosen the states located on the mid-western sections of the country, known for its heavily forested terrains and challenging routes.
Rodrigo Terpins have been preparing for the annual race months before the official date begins. His skills in driving were the result of his training, supervised by his father when he was still a child. Knowing that he has potential in becoming a rally driver, his father supported him as he joined competitions both local and international. As Rodrigo Terpins become popular in the sport, he encouraged his brother to follow his steps, and Michel Terpins eventually became a successful rally driver. The siblings also founded a group back in the year 2012, called the Bull Sertoes Rally Team. They recruited their friends to join them, and the group sends their representative every year to compete with other racers.
For the 2018 Sertoes Rally, which marks the 25th anniversary of the event, Rodrigo Terpins decided to let his younger brother participate in the race. Michel Terpins will be driving a T1 Prototype that has been modified by the other members of the team. A powerful V8 engine was installed in the vehicle, providing the driver with maximum performance. Michel Terpins was sure that he would win the race, but the vehicle he was driving stalled for a few hours inside the harsh terrain of Mid-western Brazil. In the end, the Bull Sertoes Rally Team got the 4th place rank for the T1 Prototype category.
